This is a scam. The receipt said check in started at 7:00 and didn't end as it was self-check in and that details would be emailed. They were never email and when we arrived at 8:30 pm no one was there. Called the number on the reservation and no one answered. Eventually someone started texting me and sent us to a different address in the ghetto and tried to tell us where the room was in broken English but all rooms had people in them and the code didn't work. The person texting was slow to answer and super rude. We eventually gave up after two uber rides and two hours and went and found a different hotel. I never leave reviews but I had to leave one for this one they are so horrible.
Roaches and rats in building. Filthy conditions in common areas. Was not able to sleep due to noise.
Last ditch unless sleeping outside. May fare better with insects and vermin.
I was relocated to a different property about a mile away with...not great communication. That is, no one told me that I was staying somewhere different than the location I booked, the check-in text just had a different address listed. I realized this on the ride over to the location, but showed up to the original address since I wasn't really sure what was going on. Spoke to someone who said I was relocated due to some sort of issue; she was fairly rude. Ok, whatever. Anyway, I have pretty low standards for cleanliness, comfort, etc., but this was well below my already low bar. Think "worse than a crappy hostel." The guy overseeing the property was nice enough, though, so shout out to him.
Well, I didn't have big things to complaint about, other than the bathroom zinc, the cold and the hot water cannot mix together. In the zinc, each one located separately. I understand that's an old building, but they still can change certain things.
Bare room with 4 cots. Broken miniblinds and closet door. Nocovering on one window to the street. Dead cockroach in the bedsheets and in the bathtub, live cockroaches on the walls and floors. Holes in unsafe staircase. Priced like a hotel, amenities like a skid row flophouse. Decptive listing.
Very uncomfortable room. Very loud in the night with thin walls not blocking the sound. My room was literally bed only with a toilet and sink in a small bathroom. Nowhere to hang your cloths. Had to go hike and find a store to buy a towel so I could shower. Bugs on the wall and in bathroom. Worst ever experience on Hotels.com.
this room was incredibly small and had nothing more than a small cot and a closet. there was no bathroom. I had to go to a grocery store up the street just to brush my teeth. the host sent me the wrong door code multiple times and insisted that I wasn't reading the instructions properly. a frustrating experience that you should avoid if possible. at least the room was clean
Worse than hostels I've stayed in in third world countries. Mold, roaches, and leaks. The service was offensive. There were NO PILLOWS and a clogged toilet in my room. I called to ask for help and the manager said they would have a cleaner come in to help with my concerns the next day. Cleaner did not show up that day or the next. Boston is a dystopia because you need to pay >200 a night to be treated like a human within 30 minutes of downtown
Totally scamm i paid over 300 dollars for a room with no inside lock made my girlfriend very uncomfortable because any of the ppl there could use the code on the outside of the door to come in, and when we first showed up we called to make sure we had the right place and the woman who had answered the was very rude, there was barely any room no pillows at all the room had bullet holes and blood on the walls says no smoking but all u could smell was weed outside and on the inside they owners or something were blaring music would not recommend left because this place gave me and my girlfriend extremely bad gut feeling with have no lock to keep the door from locking on the inside and multiple people had our door code did not feel safe or comfortable my girlfriend was made extremely uncomfortable by the entire situation and environment something bad was definitely going to happen if we stayed longer then we did please do not stay here for your safety
This is an awful ripoff to anyone going to Boston. None of the pictures in its advert were even of the place.
Filthy , bug ridden bathroom with no toilet paper, unlit 3rd floor hallway and stairs, unsecured and unsafe main entry, so bad I refused to even sit on one of the incredibly shoddy cots in the dank, dirty closet advetised an " accommodation ",
Terrible,
I tried to communicate with the owner and received either no response, until Expedia contacted them, and afterwards, broken, near incomprehensible texts regarding parking.
This was the worst place I have ever booked, anywhere in the world.
I'd have felt safer, cleaner and less prone to rat, spider, roach bites under a highway overpass.
I have pictures that I hope to upload of the total wreck that this "guest house " claims to be. Garbage utop the mirror in the gross bathroom, strange leaking holes in the bedrooms ceiling, an air conditioner ready to fall out the window.
Every platform that has this advert should ban him.
It's a criminal enterprise.
