"We had an amazing time here! Our terrace room had a beautiful view, the breakfast was lovely and the staff were amazing! They made reservations for us and brought us extra toiletries multiple times. Everyone was so friendly! The location of the hotel couldn’t be better either. Staying here enhanced how magical our stay in Camogli was!"

"Great hotel room, Inon. Excellent location. Just a few steps from the shore and right in the center of town. Great choice for a hotel room in Rapalo."

We found the hotel right in the middle of the town. surrounded by bars and restaurants and a lovely walk through shaded, busy, ally's in the old town. Close to the beach and the ferry to Portofino. Portofino is too busy and full of tourists. The rooftop bar was a revelation. Watch the moon rise over the bay sipping a cocktail. Spot on. No swimming pool, if you are that inclined. Parking is across the street. Had a lovely stay and will return.

Perfectly placed at the end of the seafront, the Astoria is small and very welcoming. Rapallo town centre is a short walk away as is the railway station. On arrival we were welcomed by Alessandro and Sara who were the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and we had a fantastic week. The room, though not huge, was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfast buffet was varied and ample for us. Highly recommended.

We have stayed at many hotels over the years in Rapallo but this is by far the best. When we arrived check in was so easy and the staff were friendly and helpful and showed us to our room while my car was taken away to the garage. The bedroom was clean and well set out with coffee machine etc. and a good supply of cold water. Bathroom spotless and with everything you needed. Breakfast was plentyfull and with a wide choice including hot food cooked to order not getting cold in trays. Throughout...

The hotel service, from checking in, to room cleanliness and great breakfast helped to make our stay relaxing and wanting to stay longer than our 3 days. You do not need a car, it is in easy walking distance to the marina and restaurants and shops. The staff were very friendly and supportive in directing us to many good places to eat and visit. The private terraces and beach front was an added bonus.

Service was great from start to finish! Hotel is very stylish and the rooms pleasant. Great to park outside and have the car moved to a secure space whilst we were there too. We’ll come again. Oh and the food was fabulous!

Hotel is ideally situated. The ferry to Portofino is a 2 minute walk, as is the town for the restaurants and bars. The railway station is about a 7 minute walk from the hotel. Everything you need is close by. Would highly recommend

Very much enjoyed our week's stay at The Continental. We had a nice sea view room on the second floor with a small balcony. The outlook from this hotel across its beautiful gardens across the bay at Santa Marg. is outstanding whether from the room or having a drink on the terrace. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. Great breakfast on the terrace every morning and short walk down the hill to the charming town. So much better than overrated Portafino. Only negative we had was that the hotel sun...

The property was well situated near the beach, town center and Railway station.
Its was modern, clean, well equipped and interesting in relation to its design and layout.

We chose this hotel because it was a heritage building, a small-ish hotel just metres from the sea front and it did not disappoint. It has been beautifully restored and has a lovely, romantic feel. We had a standard double room which was fine - few frills but elevated by the patio area accessed by double doors from our room and the lovely view from it out across the rooftops of the town and to the hills behind. Shower was hot & powerful. Breakfast was varied and plentiful, all staff really...

The best area to stay in Boschetto is generally within the historic centre, particularly around Via Roma and Piazza Garibaldi.
This area forms the heart of Boschetto, offering a blend of historic charm and modern conveniences. Via Roma is the main thoroughfare, lined with a variety of shops, cafes, and trattorias. Piazza Garibaldi serves as a central gathering point, often hosting local markets or events, and is a short walk from the picturesque harbour. The narrow, winding streets branching off these main areas are characteristic of traditional Ligurian towns.
Couples looking for a romantic and convenient stay will find the historic centre ideal. You'll be within easy walking distance of the best restaurants, offering fresh seafood and local specialities, and can enjoy leisurely strolls along the waterfront or through the charming alleys. Many hotels here offer rooms with balconies overlooking the town or the sea.
For those travelling with family, staying slightly outside the immediate bustling centre, perhaps in the residential areas just uphill from Via Roma, can offer a quieter experience while still being very close to amenities.
When is the best time to go to Boschetto?
The best time to visit Boschetto is during the late spring (May to early June) and early autumn (September to early October) when the weather is pleasant and the crowds are smaller.
During these shoulder seasons, you'll find comfortable temperatures superb for exploring the Ligurian coastline and its charming villages. The sea is warm enough for swimming in early autumn, and the lush greenery of spring is a delight. It's a great time for couples looking for a romantic getaway without the peak summer hustle.
Families might find the summer months of July and August more suitable, especially if travelling with children who are on school holidays. While it's the busiest time, the warm weather guarantees plenty of beach days and water activities. Booking accommodations and attractions well in advance is essential during this period.
