Comfortable bed!!!

Nice, quiet secluded area. You have the advantage of a pub and restaurant. It is advisable to have a car, should you stay here and there are loads of parking spaces available. I would have to say the best part of the stay was the bed. Definitely the most comfortable hotel bed, I've slept in, in a very long time.

The location of the hotel was great, the hotel looked fantastic however for such a nice hotel the staff needs more customer service training

Couldn't have asked for more. Close enough to Harry Potter studios, and had everything that we needed

Nice hotel

Posted 31-Jul-2017
Pros: Nice rooms
Cons: Please be clear that you have to pay to go swimming, even if you are staying in hotel.
Location: Watford nearby excellent shopping.
We didnt realise that we had to pay to go swimming, wish we had been advised of that when booking.

Ok stay

Good area to stop in, upgraded room was great with full sky TVs and coffee machine, air con was lovely on the night time! Only problems were the pillows were far to hard making our nights sleep poor, also the Italian and pub menu was very poor would eat from there! Was an overall ok stay but wasn't the best for the money!

We checked in on a Saturday evening. The 'single sofa beds' were single mattresses on the floor which made not tripping over a three year old when it was dark fairly tricky (twins), but we were only there for one night, so fine. Room (231) was right by the lifts, so it was fairly noisy, but there was nothing the hotel could do anything about that. However, at about 10pm our neighbours came back on both sides. On the side that we had an adjoining door with we could hear every single word of every single conversation, waking the girls up and keeping us all awake. The other side wasn't quite as bad but the walls must be incredibly thin. I know you can't control the noise of your neighbours but the flaw here lies mainly in the hotel design. The TV was impossible to work too - when we managed to get it on to TV there was channel which was hotel information. I'm sure that's not the case but not intuitive at all. Shame because it's a lovely modern hotel, nicely furnished and very clean, but i'd never stay there again nor recommend anyone with families to do so (or to stay next to a family - i'm sure our neighbours loved us getting up at 7am the next morning!).
