"This is an absolutely charming inn attached to a pub and restaurant. The room is cozy and updated. The restaurant food is local, fresh, and beautifully prepared. Sunday roast was just delicious. We arrived in the evening to lots of building and maintenance materials outside the front and in the entrance area. Not the best start. The member of staff who met us was pleasant and helpful. The room was only ok, clean enough but not great. It was just for one stopover for an early flight and the location for that purpose is good. I’ve tried to be very fair and even in this review, but this place is not...

"Always a fantastic stay at this lovely pub. Manager is so friendly and helpful. We have eaten here the two times we have stayed and the food is also really good, with fantastic service. Rooms are characterful, clean and lovely and quiet for sleeping. Beautiful location in a very pretty village - a wonderful base for exploring this lovely part of Lancashire."

"Check in wasent till 4:30pm.Quite busy when we arrived so had a drink a nice collection of ipa always a good thing.When got a drink told him we was checking in quite quick told us when your ready il show you to your room.To which they did explained everything.The room was everything we needed nice layout comfy bed.Near the train station but couldn’t hear much as trains pulled up.Shame they don’t do breakfast but there’s loads of place to go for something to eat in walking distance.Defo...
