"We were a bit disappointed with this. I’d say the pictures on the site are very flattering. We arrived in the evening to lots of building and maintenance materials outside the front and in the entrance area. Not the best start. The member of staff who met us was pleasant and helpful. The room was only ok, clean enough but not great. It was just for one stopover for an early flight and the location for that purpose is good. I’ve tried to be very fair and even in this review, but this place is not...

"Had a great stay at the White Lion - the staff were amazing and looked after us. The hotel is within easy reach of the train station and right in the middle of Hebden Bridge too. Breakfast was delicious too."
