"Convenient"
If you want to drink the night away, Fleet Street Hotel is an excellent place to stay because it is at the heart of Temple Bar. You won't need to worry about walking back or looking for a taxi to take you back to the hotel because Fleet Street Hotel is at the city center. If you are like me who want to spend the last night in Dublin not worrying about public transportation but wanting to walk everywhere and be near the airport shuttle stop, I would stay here. I was able to walk everywhere and enjoy my last night in Dublin.

"Charged Full Rates with No Hot Water"
For two of the four days we were without hot water for bathing. When I brought this up as a reason for a deep daily discount they agreed, but said there was nothing they could do and I would have to talk to Expedia. so, Mr/Ms Expedia, how do I get reimbursed for a hotel that had no hot water? "Nice hotel, in a heart of city center"
A good experience for me to be there. I can't expect to much, b/c it was not a hotel, it was just hostel. But overall it was better and cheaper. But needs to increase staff.

"Good central hotel"
Overall the Arlington was a good hotel in central Dublin, just north of the river and so it's convenient to walk to most things. The second room we had was quite nice, with a comfortable ample bed and little noise. The front desk staff very kindly gave us that room after we mentioned we weren't doing well with the Double bed in the first room. Every encounter with the staff was friendly, professional, quick and effective. Having read the reviews and realized the attached restaurant has nightly live music/dance performances, we had asked for a quiet room away from the busy street, and we got such and did not have noise problems. The breakfast buffet was good and perhaps worth the 10 Euro for the full version. The trickiest thing was parking, as the reduced-fee garage is three blocks away and the hotel is on a street that is often very busy, and getting between them involves figuring out the one-way streets. There is a loading zone on the corner east of the hotel, which we were lucky enough to find open when we needed it. I liked the rooms, though the second was better than the first we had, and snobs for "brand new" buildings may have gripes (as seen in other reviews).

"A pretty nice hostel."
This hostel is quite nice and the location is great - very central. The rooms are basic, but only have 6 beds, which is cozier than the hostels that try to cram more beds. The room was also nice and warm, which is a good plus for Dublin. Each room has en suite bathroom with one shower and one toilet, so it's nice to have that privacy and it was quite large in size. Mind you the shower sometimes took a while to heat up, the pressure wasn't great and the walls had some peeling paint. But overall it was a decent bathroom. The beds could have been better, I kept feeling the springs and after three days of sleeping there, my back didn't appreciste it much. The staff was accommodating with storing my extra bag downstairs during my stay and everyone was very nice and pleasant. Overall I think it's a good value.
