Very enjoyable stay, well situated hotel, friendly, helpful staff my son left his passport and quick thinking from the staff helped us to organise a taxi to bring the passport to the airport so that we could catch our flight, thank you very much.
Kind regards
Alison

The only down about Carlton Hotel is how far it is from Dublin. We wanted something on outskirts but we found it quite expensive paying for a taxi if you're staying in Dublin until late. Although, the price per night is much better comparing to anywhere in Dublin centre so in a way we saved 😊 the buses stop just outside the hotel and its a straight journey to Dublin centre. The restaurante and bar in the hotel are really good. And have to say, the most comfortable bed I slept in away from home...

Excellent quality-price location, clean and helpful cleaners, delicious breakfast. We had dinner once at the restaurant and it was great and tasty.
Reception and Doorman service really professional and friendly. Special mention to Julianne, the breakfast host, a shot of breath air and a good singer!
The restaurant table staff need to improve their language skills as we had to repeat ourselves many times (I am Spanish but very fluent and my wife is English). It could have just been just a one...

Check in was smooth and efficient. Carla at reception was superb and really understands what customer service represents. Well done. Bar food was beautiful and staff very customer focused. Breakfast was terrific with lots on offer and day staff very attentive and friendly. We ordered room service and this was efficient. Albeit I live in Dublin and have stayed in numerous top class hotels, Clontarf Castle is a gem and exceeded all my expectations. I would highly recommend this hotel based on...

Lovely hotel in a great location. Central to all we needed in Dublin.
Hotel room was ideal. It was clean and comfortable with all the facilities we needed for our stay.

This hotel was surprisingly nice considering the price and our room 402 was very quiet considering it was next to Temple Bar.
The room was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great and is not to be missed.
The only downside is that the TV does not have live TV channels but it does have Netflix to make up for that.
I would definitely stay there again.
