Clean room very friendly staff

Just a terrific hotel and facilities, really enjoyed our stat

This is ideal if you are on Amtrak as station is across bridge

This may be an historic hotel, but it could definitely teach more modern hotels a thing or two about comfort and atmosphere! If you travel to the hotel from San Francisco Airport, beware of taking a taxi - our driver failed to tell us about the out of town surcharge, so it cost us a whopping $150 between three of us! During daylight hours take the Bart instead, which goes directly from the airport to Downtown Berkeley - then it's about a 10-15 minute walk to the hotel. It's in a quiet...

The hotel is in a great location to explore Berkeley and has been recently renovated and the rooms definitely look brand new. Very comfortable stay and very friendly staff. I would definitely recommend for a short stay in the area.

We have had a lovely stay at galleria park, lovely staff, comfortable beds and most of all a great location. Highly recommended.

Troy as a first point of contact was particularly friendly and helpful giving us vital informationto help our days run smoother. We will miss him! In fact all staff were really welcoming and went out of their way for us, from reception staff to cleaners to restaurant workers.

Ideally situated outside of San Francisco, plenty of amenities close by , there are many choices of restaurants in San Rafael , we used ferries and drove in to San Francisco, the parking is very expensive , this is why we chose the Marin lodge,
