Fabulous stay, at a clean and comfortable hotel. Was a little in the pricey side, considering that I had to pay £10 for overnight parking. Additionally, I opted out of having breakfast, as that was over £12! In spite of those minor complaints, I found the hotel to be very comfortable and would consider returning.

Lovely stay as always for a family birthday meet up celebration. The pools and leisure centre are heavenly, especially when the sun comes out. Real holiday vibes in the outdoor pool area. Restaurant food and service exceptional. Only criticism this stay was that the rooms were far too hot at night, couldn't control the radiator heat!

Beautiful find. Very impressed, everything was perfect. The room was amazing, especially waking up to the views in the sunshine. Everything we needed and the room was spotless. All the little details have been thought of. The breakfast was yummy and the owners very friendly. We even had a text the evening we arrived asking us what time we would like breakfast and the options available. Such a lovely personal touch. Will definitely go back and recommend to others.

Very handy location close to where we needed to be in Chelmsford. Certainly more room that a budget hotel wih everything you need, including safe parking.

From start to finish it’s like being at home, the 2 ladies that run the front desk and dining room are fantastic

Fabulous, our room 402 had a huge balcony with views over the estuary and of the pier. Staff were very friendly and attentive, evening meal of sharing steak was cooked exactly as we like it and breakfast was also very nice, highly recommend the full English for the hungry or sausage muffin. The location is also great, up on the cliff away from the noise but only a short walk to the lift and no more than 5 minutes walk to the pier. This was my second visit and the service was even better than last time when it was exemplary. From the moment we arrived the staff could not do enough to help us. They even helped me with the bags because my husband is less abled. They were very attentive and went the extra mile to ensure our stay was memorable.
