"Easy to park. Attractive well presented and maintained building. Room facilities and design well thought out. Spotless!!!! Super quiet. Very comfortable. Water hot.. Key cards that actually work first time every time. A warm informative welcome, backed up by written mealtime info etc. Evening meal well presented fish and curry dish beautifully cooked. Excellent. The chocolate sweet also good but flavour was overpowered by the strong sauce covering the whole dish Probably would have been better striped or spotted onto the plate. Or even a separate jug. Extremely good overall meal. All breakfasts top grade. Excellent ingredients and presentation second to none. On our evening meal the second night i was sad to have to complain about the fish and chips. (Both the gluten free, and the standard ) the fish was thin and not of good texture. I could not believe the difference in the standard of previous meals. However the complaint was adressed with reasonable speed and satisfaction. You have a super business model here but might be better to remove fish and chips from your menu.. Please accept these comments as positive feedback to address or ignore as you wish I would not hesitate to recommend your establishment to anyone. "

"A great location, great food and great staff. A really good find and having read reviews of self-checkin with no reception staff, I think it depends when you arrive and what’s on at the hotel. Check-in was easy and quick, room was comfortable and quite quiet (less those who have no consideration for other guests….which invariably you get in any hotel). Food was reasonably priced (they do discount for Blue Light Card holders) and very good quality (piping hot, which was nice) and staff were very friendly (and talked to you….unlike some places) tbh, would definitely recommend and stay again."

"Lovely hotel and the staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was great; my only complaint is that the light switches were very baffling and/or non-functional! Annoying. The breakfast was fabulous."

"The bedroom & bathroom were both very clean but could do with some modernisation. The breakfast was delicious amazing selection. The location was perfect for us as my son was playing an ice hockey tournament less than 5 minutes away. We’ll definitely be back if he plays there again the staff were so helpful & friendly."
