Situated in Hull, this hotel is within 1 mi (2 km) of Grosvenor Casino Hull and Hull New Theatre. The Deep and University of Hull are also within 3 miles (5 km). Hull Station is 14 minutes by foot and Hull Paragon Interchange Station is 16 minutes.
The rooms were fine but the breafast buffet I booked wasn't possible. That's fine, but the alternative was a breakfast sandwich. The price point wasn't equivalent so I requested a cancellation the day I arrived for the breakfast (both days). This was accepted.
Upon checkout I was told Expedia was responsible for any price adjustments (since I never got the breakfast). Expedia then let me know (and contacted Doubletree) that because I paid when I arrived and not through expedia, the adjustment was theirs to make.
Doubletree refused to refund me for the breakfast and now I'm having to jump through hoops climbing the ladder up.
