"Upon arrival we were advised that we had received a complimentary upgrade to a suite, which was lovely as we were visiting York for our wedding anniversary. Room was lovely and clean, the bathroom was huge and very clean. Hotel bar was very nice, lots of choice for drinks, lovely seating area with a great atmosphere. We also had breakfast great choices available, help your self tea and coffee and fruit juices. Novotel York is a great base for exploring the town, about 5-10 minute walk away, you can also walk alongside the river which is lovely. Would definitely recommend and we will be staying again"

"Our welcome was super friendly, Our room spotlessly clean as was the whole hotel. At breakfast we were also met by friendly helpful staff. Breakfast itself was excellent, as much as you wanted and such a choice. On our departure day our transport home was late afternoon but there was no problem leaving our cases at reception meaning we didn’t have to carry them round all day. The location of the hotel was the best for a sightseeing trip to York - Thankyou"
