"Absolutely a dream location to access the medieval city. Literally steps from the Narbonne gate. Our room was spacious and comfortable, but our door lock was broken so locking the room was impossible. Luckily, the room had a second hidden door behind the floor to ceiling blood red curtains, so we could safely lock our stuff up while we explored. After a full day of exploring the medieval city, we came back to the room late at night to no heat or hot water - which was a super big let down. The staff did work to get it turned back on, and we had hot water by midnight, but were freezing. The restaurant was not open during our stay, so I can't speak to that. We didn't have time to find/use the pool. hot tub or spa. Wish we had more than one night to really enjoy the hotel's amenities. We loved the town and would recommend staying here."

"A room w a view (14) and twin beds loads of space custom Velvet curtains matching chair and blanket really elegant. Nespresso coffee machine and liquid creamers nice touch. Bath tub was welcome site w my recent fall and shower w rain and hand held also. Hot strong water plush towels. 5 \* place. But the managing couple made my 2 nights w their care attention to my sudden immobility and knee injury. Even the stairs were doable but they offered to change me to downstairs from. Breakfast included boiled eggs meat cheese etc well worth the 13E. Be back for sure. "

"This is a grand, elegant house with beautifully appointed and capacious rooms. There were several sitting rooms around the house, and lovely, festively-lit outdoor spaces. There is a swimming pool and a hot tub, with robes provided. The eclectic and tasteful decor mixed period fidelity and modern convenience. The high-tech kitchenette unit in our room somehow merged seamlessly with the authentic wooden shutters and antique fixtures. The location is perfect - an easy walk to the walled Cite. We could sit on the window sill, overlooking the garden patio and enjoy clear views of the Cite. Safe and convenient parking was included.The breakfast was free, and it was generous and delicious, served on beautiful china in an elegant dining room. Our hosts, Marianne and Stefan, were gracious, responsive and friendly. We wish we could’ve stayed longer!"
