"The location to the castle is 2 nd to none. A 5 minute walk is all it takes to be at the castle. We booked for Bastille Day. Spent the day walking around . We had lunch then returned to 514 , showered and changed. Returned to the castle for supper . Watched the fireworks display which was breathtaking. Fantastic location.The room was clean and equipped with fridge, 2 ring hob, microwave, coffee maker ( one pod machine and also a filter machine) Well worth a visit and great value for money."

This quiet little corner of Carcassone was so close to the walled city, yet was beautiful to stay at, the staff were incredibly helpful, and the pool was a fantastic spot to cool off in the afternoon. "Loved this hotel. Really clean and comfortable, and the location is great. Both for the citadel and the restaurants and shops further along Rue Trivalle. The pool and seating area were a welcome place to relax and cool off. The staff were all friendly and welcoming (and spoke good English if, like me, your French isn't the best!)
