"Hotel was very nice however if your an American or western at all I wouldn’t stay here, none of the rooms had showers and we had many traditional ryokans on our visit to Japan that did, also all night were sirens for the Tsunami right outside our window. Restaurant was pretty decent but overall compared to the price and the dirtiest city we found in Japan it’s definitely a no way ever again in our books, that’s from a very well traveled outlook. "

"Fantastic experience...only wish we would have had more time. We used this as a hub prior to climbing Mt. Fuji - not too far from the Atami Station and easy to access. Staff is helpful, kind and very welcoming. Beautiful Ryokan - would definitely come back to visit again. "

"Ocean view rooms, with western beds and tatami. There's onsen on site. Although it's only 700 meters from JR Atami, you better use a taxi at arrival, you may walk back to the station next day during daylight. Staffs didn't speak English, and no wifi service."
