I usually take pictures of the front of the hotel where I stay, but this one was impossible because the lobby faced the water. Access to the main road was on the roof floor. The onsen is on the 5th floor, and it was too cold walking from my room to the end of the hallway to reach it. The hotel restaurants were booked out and we had a hungry child to feed. We asked where we could find a restaurant and the staff was not able to give a satisfactory answer. Showed me a piece of paper in English (was instructions to check out) and asked me to “check it”. He wouldn’t allow me to read it on the spot and asked me to move away from the counter. It wasn’t even busy at the time. There’s mold in the air vents at the reception. The number one reason was the staff was actively not helpful, rude at points, unprofessional in the Onsen, etc. I stayed at 12 hotels in Japan this trip and I did not experience that at other hotels. Quite the opposite, at the other hotels the staff were so welcoming and friendly and made sure we had a great experience. Also, finding it and parking were a disaster, so I called the hotel asking for assistance and they just hung up on me. When I finally found it on my own, they told me I could just park wherever in public parking many blocks away. It was extremely frustrating and difficult to navigate and again not a good experience as I’d had other places. The room was clean, it’s outdated and probably a little over priced, but all and all the room was fine, nothing crazy either way. ##### Faith D. Stayed 1 night in Aug 2024 ### 6/10 Okay #### Akiko 27 Nov 2025 This hotel needs overall update. My room had a tatami living room space and two twin beds. The carpet under bed needs ripped off gets new one. Bathroom is unit bath style and very tiny. If you are tall, your leg touches the door when you on the toilet.
