"Great location, hotel a little dark and dated but staff are friendly and helpful and rooms big comfortable and spotless. Great breakfast too."

"Basic room which was spotless, lovely bedlinen. Large bathroom, big shower. Breakfast was plentiful good choices. We ate in the Burgendy bar, food was fresh and hot,and again plenty of choice. It would have been nice to see a salad offered. "

"The beds looked made but when my daughter went to go in her s there was a tissue in there like it hadn’t been made up for us from people before …. So we both slept. Together I complained the next day all I got was a £40 refund … but there was no knowing that bed wasn’t slept in !!! I still had to chase the cleaning ladies in the corridors in afternoon to get them to change bedding…"

"Rooms were very clean and better than I expected. The only downside for us was no tea or coffee in our room and that was disappointing but overall great place and stay and would stay again but a room with tea and coffee ☺️"

"Could hear the bars below music late into the night. Fire alarm went off twice at 1:40am and then had no hot water this morning. Would not stay again."

"Great hotel overall - nice room, friendly staff, good bed, and shower was too notch. Only small thing was that the building was a bit of a maze trying to find the rooms. I'd happily stay there again when I next come to Birmingham. Highly recommend! "
