Had a lovely time at the Mencey. Staff absolutely lovely and so friendly, hotel both grand in its colonnaded porches and cool inner courtyard, and comfortable, with many places to have drinks and food in the shade and chill. Wonderful property well situated to explore the surrounding area!! Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. The rooms are stunning with every amenity available. Would highly recommend for holidays or business!!!

Lovely hotel and easy to get to public transport.

Really comfortable, clan and modern room. Roof top pool and bar were amazing. Breakfast could do with adding baked beans, sausages and tomatoes.

We had a lovely few days staying in the hotel. The breakfast was lovely and the freshly squeezed orange juice a nice addition. The best tapas bars are near the Tower, the Venetian plus the tapas bar next door. Each place superb.

Based in a fabulous converted old house with an inner courtyard based in the centre of La Laguna within four minutes walk of the cathedral. We had originally booked Manila suite but, on reading reviews about noise (although apparently it has now been double glazed) and speaking with the property, we decided to upgrade to the Amaro Pargo suite, which was lovely and spacious and at the back of the property, with a large balcony overlooking the inner courtyard and beautiful glazed balcony...

The room was very clean and perfectly adequate. Paula was fantastic!! I was soaked from the rain, on arrival, and she immediately got me a couple of towels to dry off. She showed me around, and on informing her that I would not be there for breakfast, she prepared me some food to take with me. There was no tv in the room, but all I wanted was to sleep, before the next part of my journey the following day, so I was ok with that. The other guests seemed respectful, as I was not disturbed all...

We had a really lovely time staying at this hotel, staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. Room was really nice, breakfast lovely, great shops and near restaurants. I would stay here again great hotel and location.

Well Maintained hotel with nice rooms and comfy beds. The shower attachment was a bit off, but I’d asked for a bath so I was fine as that was good. Nice pool area and good hotel buffet

This hotel exceeded every expectation and more. Hotel rooms are on the smaller side, but everything is modern, clean and useful. Bathrooms are very nice and general location is stunning. Grounds are really well kept, staff are amazing and pool area is so nice with a fantastic view Plenty of local restaurants within easy walking distance which are a fantastic Will be in a rush to come back

Very pleasant experience, staff friendly and attended to you needs

We stayed for 14 nights in January & thoroughly enjoyed it. The Hotel was light & spacious & beautifully furnished. The food in the restaurant was of a very high standard & not expensive. An easy walk to the Ramblas or the shopping area as well as to the sea. Would thoroughly recommend.

We spent 16 nights at this hotel for our holiday. The hotel staff were very attentive and helpful- reception, restaurant staff, room cleaning. We were half board and enjoyed the dining when (on most days) it was the meal of the day- buffet was less impresasive. Limited choice (two of each course) but good ingredients prepared to restaurant standards; well presented with waiter service.
