"I booked three rooms here for a group of friends to stay and explore Winchester. The hotel has a secure car park next to the property, although this is quite cramped. The entrance area to the hotel is very grand and the staff throughout our stay were lovely and very helpful. The location is great - a few minutes walk to the High Street and the cathedral/military museums/Great Hall/ Westgate are all within 10 minutes stroll. My room was a good size, very quiet but well laid out. There was both a kettle and a coffee machine and biscuits too. The only 2 observations I'd have would be that none of the plugs had USB charging ports and that the curtains were too long and completely covered the radiators. We didn't take evening meals in the hotel but the breakfast there was lovely, in a nice room overlooking the garden with a good choice of buffet options. The lounge area in the evening was very pleasant to sit in too. "

"Lovely stay the staff were very helpful as we were all staying over as it was near to my daughters wedding. Only comment is that room safes would be a welcome addition to the facilities. We had an evening meal which everyone enjoyed and the breakfasts were great."

"Excellent 2 night stay to visit my son. Superb breakfast. Room was spotless and seemed newly decorated. The only negative was that the bed was too hard , but that's a personal preference, otherwise could not fault the stay"
