"Parking was easy off from the main services. But the hotel it's very run down. The bathroom door didn't close and was falling apart, the grout around the bath was black. The bathroom floor was very uneven. The towels had worn through. The windows were very ropey looking I wouldn't trust them. Mystery stains on the carpet. And just about everywhere tbh. The bed was comfortable but felt like it was back to front like my feet were a foot higher than my head so had to speed upside down. The rest of the building and the facade was the same. Receptionist was friendly. And it was very close to the village if you snuck out the back gate to get some decent food at the coach and horse. It was only for one night but I definitely won't be rushing back."

"The location was great, with friendly, helpful staff and rooms had everything needed albeit a bit basic and plug sockets seemed a bit scarce. Breakfast was in a lovely area and really good - nice touch bringing fresh eggs of your choice. I would suggest bringing toast too so they don’t go cold when waiting for toaster! Would recommend as a great base for short trip."

"Caravan was tired but very clean. Value good for what we paid. Excellent site, amenities are great, everything required to make our stay an enjoyable experience. Pool area very clean. All staff extremely helpful and polite. Great location. Would definitely recommend and would definitely visit again. Well done sandy balls 👏👏👏"

"Down stairs was pk, staff were really good. But the rooms are very very run down, threadbare carpets and curtains, awful pillows, just very poor and definately not value for money."

"This was lovely in many ways. My room was spotless and spacious, Breakfast was hot and plentiful with a reasonable choice. The new season has maybe not kicked in as some of the outside areas could do with a little tidy up. All the staff I met were friendly and helpful. This is not the fault of the hotel, but it is worth noting that there are few public transport links to the local towns and seemingly none before 9.30 am or after about 7 pm.,"
