We had a dog with us and we didn't get the advertised pet bits but that was an issue with hotels.com booking lacking info on the £20 per night pet charge and the hotel being unaware of us coming with a pet."

"Laichmoray Hotel Elgin. Great location, a 3 minute walk from train station, with trains direct to/from Inverness airport. Warm, helpful and friendly welcome from all hotel staff. Room was modern, comfortable and clean - perfect for my one night stay. We had dinner at the hotel on night of our arrival which was excellent - as was breakfast the following morning. We had a very enjoyable stay at the Laichmoray and can highly recommend this hotel for a stopover in Elgin. "
