So far our favorite hotel on this trip. Staff was super friendly and welcoming. Great options for dinner and breakfast. It’s a smaller hotel so it felt more intimate, but was still quiet. Would definitely recommend.
The 1881 was a perfect stay in speyside. The facility is remarkably new and clean with close access to town and nearby distilleries like Macallan. Def worth booking.
Loved this place! We were greeted by incredible staff and the front desk man was incredible!! Everyone at the hotel was so kind and warm and made the stay amazing. Food was amazing and the room was great. Great location in the country side. A car is needed. Great whiskey selection at the car. Would highly recommend!
We traveled together with another couple. Each had separate amazing rooms! This was our favorite hotel during our 10 day stay in Scotland. (7 hotels total) . Well appointed unique rooms with luxury finishes. Extremely comfortable bed. Large bathroom and vanity. Highly recommend. Outstanding, attentive staff and excellent bar, dinner and breakfast breakfast. Quiet sleepy town but perfect to finish up our day of whiskey, tours and sightseeing.
We loved the quaintness of the hotel and surrounding community of Archiestown. We were greeted by a very friendly staff member & loved the small boutique atmosphere. Both dinner & breakfast had lovely presentation & were quite good.
