"such a shame ! the property could be very nice ( very nice buildings ) but there is a clear lack of maintenance overall ( green swimmingpool , old furniture in the bedroom , broke hairdryer). service is not particularly good , especially in the spa when they had us waiting for an hour because the therapist was delayed . location remains far from petra. really not worth the price, this is not a 5 stars , more 3 ... run away ..."

"Very enjoyable and relaxing stay on Mövenpick resort Petra. Only 2 mins from hotel to the Petra visit centre. Many choices for both of breakfast and dinner buffet. I want to especially thanks to the Mohammed served for dinner at Sayara. He saw I get sunburnt, he suggested and gave me some yogurt to cool down during night. I would love to come back Movenpick someday. The pastry is superb! "

"This hotel was the perfect place to base myself for exploring Petra. I received a free upgrade to a bigger room on arrival with a gorgeous view out over the valley. The hotel is out of the way of the hustle and bustle of the main street of Petra which I thought might have been a bit disappointing but proved to be great respite.
