"Lovely loking building, and bar area. Check in was quite slow. We were in room 009 and 010 on the lower ground floor. When you exit the lift there is signage for 001 -003 and 19-21 but nothing in between, we asked 3 staff and none then knew where it was, it makes no sense to have signage that does not cover all room numbers. Room 009 was a reasonable size but 010 was about a meter and a half narrower and wasnt big enough to swing a cat in, really disappointing that the size of the rooms differed...

"Mere Brook is a lovely place to stay. The house and grounds are beautiful and the room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was self service but everything was fresh and well stocked. We travelled in for a football match and very easy to get into Liverpool. Probably better than going in via the M62. Will definitely book again and highly recommended."
