The thing that made this hotel is the staff, nothing is too much trouble for them. Would certainly stay here again.

We stayed here for one night before catching the train back to London. It was a perfect place to relax after a long day of travelling and before another long day of travelling plus it’s only 5 minutes in a cab to Gare du Nord.

We used the spa every day of our stay - definitely worth booking your hour in each day it was lovely to go in there after a long day of walking. Great hotel with lots of history. Pool is small but has a strong current so you can swim. Room was very nice with excellent shower. AC was great.

Really friendly and helpful staff. The continental breakfast is good but maybe not necessary to book for whole stay. Having the a la carte menu some days is a good idea. Spa and pool is a must at the end of a tiring day. Rooms are well kitted out.

This is a wonderful hotel. Beautifully decorated and spotless, very comfortable with the weather in the mid to high 30s and well appointed, gorgeous rooms. The highlight is the staff, who are all so welcoming and helpful. We all had a fabulous stay and would love to return. Anything you need appears in a flash and I used the same day laundry service which was brilliant. A wonderful hotel for exploring Paris or just chilling out in the locality. Service and care within the hotel was superb. The hotel is beautiful and the staff were all excellent. High quality restaurants are very close and so is the Metro station at Bastille. Difficult to find any fault at all.

The hotel is special, it offers a completely different experience to any other place I've stayed with its mysterious history and beautiful décor. The staff are super attentive and the rooms are unique, being able to rent the Spa privately was fantastic and the location is perfect being close to excellent bars and restaurants. The staff went above an beyond to make sure we were welcomed and were happy to help with anything.

Fantastic room with views over the Paris rooftops. The service was impeccable in all areas of the hotel from the reception to the cafe and restaurant staff and housekeeping. The hotel is perfectly located for easy access to the Louvre.

All staff were extremely polite, friendly, helpful and professional. Hôtel was beautiful. Great location.
