"Great hotel. Very impressed by my first time in Cornwall. Lovely setting very near to the city centre. Staff were very welcoming and friendly throughout the stay from check-in to departure. Brilliant room. Very clean and well equipped. Really quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was a good choice of items. Loved the poached eggs. Hope to return soon."

"Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We booked 3 rooms as 4 adults and two children. Rooms were spacious and had a lovely balcony. We booked to be in next door rooms which was lovely. One of our party was a coeliac and the menu and staff gave food options which went down very well. The pool at the Spa was lovely and we all enjoyed a good few hours there. My only gripe was the mattress which was too soft for me, but everyone else were happy with theirs. An excellent two night stay and we would all go back. Thank you."

"The Bodmin Jail Hotel was amazing, really well presented and the history has been preserved brilliantly. During our stay we did the after dark ghost tour which again was an amazing experience our guide Kee was very knowledgeable and friendly, overall I would highly recommend a visit to either the hotel or the attraction"
