"Absolutely fabulous weekend! Lovely room and we received a surprise upgrade with a spa bath! Fresh and tasty food at breakfast and restaurant. Staff are all top tier! Couldn't be more helpful, friendly and we have never felt more looked after than we did during our stay. We will definitely come back again. "Stayed at the Southpark House for one day while visiting Dumfries. The property is conveniently located approximately 5-10 min drive from the center (depending on traffic). "Everything was great except the food i tried the lamb rump which was served extremely rare with peapods, green beans and mashed potatoes Lamb was very chewy to the point I couldnt eat it and peapods (not a great choice) were overcooked. Location is not near Dumfries which I had not noticed when booking Breakfast was ok but sausage undercooked."
