"It's a very satisfying hotel located half an hour's walk from Sheffield City Centre. Great breakfast, friendly staff and extremely accommodating at all hours. Could do with slightly better wi-fi and air conditioning in rooms however highly recommended otherwise"

"My partner and I booked a suite at the Novotel for 2 days as we were visiting Sheffield to watch the World Snooker Semi Finals. The hotel could hardly be better situated for the snooker as it is a 5 minute walk from the Crucible Theatre, right next door to the Winter Gardens. The hotel suite was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The staff were really helpful. We had a slight problem with the coffee machine in the room but a hotel manager sorted that out for us within minutes of our mentioning it. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a wide range of choices. The hotel has its own indoor car park at a charge of £15 per day at the time of writing. All in all we had a really enjoyable stay. We're planning to go back to the Novotel for a bit longer next year."
