Unfortunately no restaurant available this visit and only a basic continental breakfast with tea and coffee in hot water jugs ( a pet hate of mine) so disappointing. "

"Friendly and welcoming staff to this impressive building. The location, room, decor and breakfast were all huge positives. Strong smells from the kitchen did linger in the dining and lounge area. The placement of our room meant that we needed to travel through the dining room on Valentine’s evening with our belongings, which possibly affected the mood for others and felt uncomfortable. Unfortunately in the bedroom, we could hear the rooms around us including bathroom sounds. The bed was uncomfortable. "
