"The Carlton George exceeded our expectations. My husband said it reminded him of old Las Vegas, but in a good way. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed, the location is fantastic (in the City Centre, 2 minutes from the Queen Street Station), and the staff was excellent - particularly Amy, Gavin, Patrick, and Connor (?) in the evening. "

"The hotel was absolutely amazing and the staff was lovely. The room was perfect. The coffee machine at the entrance was a lovely touch and tasted great. So much of the machines taste yuck but for £1 coffee was excellent value. Would 100% go back. I have MS so would have preferred to be closer to shops but thats because my walking isnt great. For those who dont have mobility issues its within walking distance of so much places. But ubers were super fast picking us up so it wasnt an issue. And if you have a family or like more room with room with kitchenette, sofa (sofa bed) more single chair, a long area with huge mirror that lit up was great for doing makeup or if you wanted to do some work. Fab hotel"

"Lovely old building, full of character. Very convenient for Glasgow Queen Street railway station (next door). Welcoming staff. Wide selection at breakfast although you have to pay for it. Relaxing glassed-in area overlooking the square where you can have a drink or wait for a train. Bed and bedding extremely comfortable. Warm towel rail in bathroom and heating in room adjustable."
