"Ideal, just a one night stop with our dog. Good size room and bed. Dog fee reasonable £10 for us dog owners that you wouldn’t know had a dog ideal. Grounds lovely. Busy but peaceful"

"First of all -- this is a fantastic location. Looking out over the cathedral, and a few feet from the High Street, I can't imagine a better place to spend three weeks (as we did). I'd like to make a special comment about the front desk staff, who were always cheerful and helpful, especially Sophie, Liam, and the manager (whose name I'm sorry to say I've forgotten). Steve in the bar was also lovely. The price is very reasonable, and for that reason, and because of the lovely front-desk...
