"We spent four nights in Lower Barn House over New Year. We had a mixed group of family from grandparents to newborns and the house was great for all. We found the communication from the property manager Cheryl and the owners fantastic. The property itself is secluded with great outdoor space (when the weather permits!). The living area and kitchen are also great for larger family gatherings. We will be looking to visit again!"

"It was a delight to hear the wildlife, and nothing else (!), during my stay at The Hideaway. - Quite refreshing. The accommodation has all one needs, but the emphasis has to be towards the “outdoors”, the tranquillity it offers and marvellous views of the countryside. Walks galore on your doorstep, or just find a spot to sit and take it all in. Well worth a visit."

"Everything about our stay was perfect. The house is gorgeous. There was an issue with the freezer and they brought us a replacement within a few hours which was impressive & essential as we needed ice for drinks! The garden is so lovely. The location is exactly what I was after. Beautiful quiet village. We sat in bed one morning listening to the bird song. Heaven. Local pubs were great too. Our host was lovely. Attentive & communicative. We had such a lovely stay and I didn’t want to leave. ❤️...

"Filthy dirty.Needed a deep clean .Bad odour as you entered the property. Kitchen oven and extractor fan need serious attention as full of grease and grime which smelt disgusting .Advertised as fully equipped kitchen but lacked items such as colander and cork screw. Glasses needed washing before we could use them. We could only use 2 of the 3bathrooms as the en-suite was full of mould and smelt disgusting. The window surrounds were covered with thick black mould."

"Our stay was wonderful. The property is safe and clean. There are plenty of dishes and pots and pans to cook with. The washing machine is very convenient. Lots of space to hang your clothes. The grounds are quiet and serene. We would love to stay here again someday."

"We had an amazing Easter week at the Crest, a beautiful house in the Meon valley, everything we could wish for..... Jo answered any questions and also made sure we had complete peace and privacy..... everything in the pictures and description is accurate, although in real life it's better. My only concern is leaving a great review will only make booking again more difficult!"

"The property has plenty of living space and was very clean and tidy. There was ample parking and it was in a good location for getting into Winchester. The bus stop was very close by as well and it was a short bus ride into the city. The purpose of our stay was to see family who had an event at Sparsholt College. This was easy to get to so the property was in a good location for us. The property is close to a road which passes under a nearby viaduct which greatened the noise of passing...

"Absolutely a wonderful home with all one needs for a stay. Well stocked kitchen and ample room. Had a small issue with the heat on first day, but the owner immediately responded and fixed. It is very close to town with a 5 min walk via path. The train light show was very nice. The trains stop at 10 pm so no overnight rumbles."

"Our stay was lovely with the exception of the kitchen, which was 75 yards away. There would have presented a challenge in getting hot food to the dining table on a good day. Unfortunately, on our first morning it rained persistently. The kitchen needs to be next to the accomodation."

"The barn was small and cosy and perfectly equipped for a lovely night away. It was a little tricky to find with the postcode so a few more detailed directions would have been handy. The only criticism was that there were a lot of dog hairs on the furniture and carpet upstairs even though the sign said no pets allowed upstairs."
