"It's a lovely place, nice room, basic and small but served our purpose. Very firm matrases, closer to hard. Good English breakfast but not much else. There were 2 issues only. One is that in a twin room you can't really use a wardrobe, it's very tight spacing and it just doesn't open as the bed is next to it (you can't move the bed either, no space). And at 7.00 fire alarm went off in our room. That seriously disrupted my sleep and turned out to be something in the kitchen. No one even went down...

"Location was great, 5 min walk from the train station, and central for the city attractions. Ben and the team were really friendly and helpful. The food we had was good value and tasty. We stayed in a 'comfy double'which was spacious and comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable. Checkout was at 11am which is helpful. "

"All was good with our stay however we only had one towel and one cup/ hospitality items- we raised this as we left and were told they didn’t know 2 people were staying although said : on Booking Also we were surprised to be charged £10 for onsite parking just for one night it seemed excessive "

"Check in - quick and efficient. Room - great space, tastefully furnished, great size bathroom with excellent shower. Breakfast - fantastic choice, cooked to perfection. "Listed building so it was a novel experience. My toilet was down the corridor and I had a bath but no shower. Owners were very friendly."

"Lovely room and amazing shower. A few things that would improve overall visit- the green emergency light above the bedroom door casts light into the room all night and really impacts sleep for people who need a dark room? It was rather like having a nightlight you could not switch off. Would also be nice to have more than one towel and a mirror in the bedroom to dry hair. Comfortable bed but I didn’t sleep well due to the light issue unfortunately "

"Extremely pleasant stay the staff were friendly and efficient, The room was spotless and the beds were comfortable. The only minor issue was the lighting by the mirrors we found inadequate for getting ready for a wedding and it would have be nice to have a full length mirror. Breakfast wad great and will certainly stay again. Many thanks for making our stay most enjoyable."

"We stayed here for two nights while attending a service at the church. The owners are charming and nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was adequate for the two nights, we found it difficult to maintain the heat balance in the room and it was fairly chilly in the pub , the good food and atmosphere made up for this. "The hotel looked lovely but unfortunately we didn't get to stay. Turned up to find hotels.com had not passed out booking into hotel so left with nowhere to stay in remote countryside. I'd recommend the eco lodge - staff were lovely but not hotels.com -it took almost a month to get a refund only by going via my bank's anti fraud process."

"We enjoyed a very pleasant stay at Bridge Cottage. From the helpful directions provided by our host in advance, the welcome upon arrival, the booking made for us at the local pub, which served great food, the lovely quiet cottage accommodation and comfortable room, to the excellent breakfast in the morning. This is a lovely, dog friendly B&B located well for access to a no. of local attractions and the area. The property could do with some maintenance but this didn't detract from an otherwise...

"Thoroughly enjoyed the independence that Two Bare Feet gave me Staying in conventional hotels around the country can become a chore. Its location with its five minute walk into the city centre makes it ideal The facilities and cleanliness were second to none. Only thing to let it down is the lack of property parking but overnight parking is around £7.30 a night and is an inconvenience not ideal for everyone. That said I would recommend it and would certainly stay there again Many thanks again...
