Stayed for one night with my boyfriend, to get a break from it all and this was definitely the right place. Nothing was too much trouble, facilities great, bar food gorgeous, lovely atmosphere and tidy rooms. We stayed here from 27 November 15 to 1st December 15 and had a fantastic time. They couldn't do enough for us and were always there to give information when we asked. They even catered for my fiances breakfast of a burger every morning - if that's not customer service and going the extra mile I don't know what is. The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming they were superb. We were sorry the restaurant and bar were shut and there was no hot option for breakfast. (We stayed Sunday to Monday)

My wife and I stayed here for one night 20-8-26, the place is really easy to find, located in a village out in the countryside a few miles from Carlisle. Everything about the place is great, the food, the beer, the location and car parking. Best of all are the staff, really friendly and helpful. Ideally situated near to M6 motorway junction 42 and 43. Lovely country location. Clean and comfortable rooms (fan provided) good food and friendly staff. Beautiful mature gardens. Plenty of free on site parking,free Wi-Fi. Food and accommodation reasonably priced.
