"Ive said it before and i will say it again and again the pear tree in is a true lttle gem. It was our third visit and it was just as lovely, we stayed in the moon glow accommodation which was fab as usual, i cannot recommend this place enough, lovely setting, lovely cosy bar area lively food and lovely staff. We will keep going back - thank you for a great break away "

"All the staff were friendly and helpful, the food was good and freshly made, decent beer and a relaxed vibe. Nice rural village, and a decent room. I didn't realise when I booked that it was a bath with no shower, and being over six foot, I could not stand up in the bath and use the spray attachment because of the low-sloping roof - but I still enjoyed the stay"

"This was my first visit to Chiseldon House having to find another place to regularly stay after the closure of a different hotel & I have already booked again. That in itself says it all. "We were greeted by Chris when we checked in after long day exploring Cotswold. We decided to stay in and booked a reservation for dinner. We had steak and Seabass and both meals were cooked to a perfection. All the courses were delicious from starter to dessert. The bed, bedding, linens, and soaps were luxury without loosing the characters of the house..and clean. All the staff were super friendly and very helpful. Both 1772 and Yû are reasonably good and sensibly priced. Don’t bother to get breakfast included. It’s good but buy it when there. Included options are limited. Spa is great."

"Booked the hotel purely for the swimming pool for the grandchildren. Pool was great. Room was ok. Beds very comfortable. Had to have the pillows and duvets changed as my husband is allergic to feathers but that was no problem and done very quickly. Not much choice of food in the bar for the grandchildren so we ate elsewhere. "
