"I was put at the front of the hotel and had a room overlooking the main street which had road works that woke me in the early hours and made sleep not easy. The hotel entry security is not up to standard. Anyone off the street can walk into the lift and go up to any floor of the hotel. There is no card-reader security tag in the lift past the first floor reception. Entry should be blocke to any floor unless the card is used to move the lift to your floor. "Ideal for travellers. Very easy access to train which provides International and Domestic airports. Also if you are planning a few days looking around Sydney, this is an ideal location. Complimentary Grab n Go coffee and snacks provided between 6am and 10am was great. Overall very positive experience and highly recommended."

"The room is very small but clean and well maintained. If you want a city stay at a reasonable price that is steps away from the train, tram , bus, shopping, restaurants and historic buildings and parks, Hotel Coronation is a good option. The staff were all friendly and Travis was especially helpful in providing directions around the city. "

"Fabulous location just next door to Sydney's city centre train station and transportation hub. Very convenient as a base for arriving late or leaving early. We had an ensuite room but shared bathroom and dormitory style also available. Breakfast was a little overpriced."
