"Hotel was lovely. View was of car park. Booked twin bed room. Given double bed room wirh a fold out chair. Breakfast was lovely. Staff were great."

"Check in was good. Public areas a bit tatty and in need of updating. Staff were helpful and friendly. Beds fairly comfortable and clean. Room was quiet. Bathroom was not well cleaned- floor was grubby and dirty marks on wall and bin. Cleaner hadn’t restocked coffee/ tea containers either. Shower gel bottle broken as well. :("

"Hotel staff great. Hotel room great. Breakfast however was buffet style i didnt complain but should have. 0830 ish went to breakfast. Bacon cooked crispy but luke warm sat on the side.sausages cold beans cold eggs greasy fried and cold mushrooms cold. Hash brown cold fresh toms grilled but cold. £12.50 if i was in a mellow mood should of asked for money back. "

"Really convenient for walking into Oxford, not far from the river. Abingdon road is busy but the double glazing is really effective (we were at the front of the house). Super-clean, friendly staff - thank you!"

"Cheapest place to stay in Oxford, I only really needed a hotel to get ready in and sleep. The initial room they tried to give us was in a different building, and it was literally just a bedroom in someone’s grotty house - stank of smoke and not safe! Do not book the room with the shared bathroom. The room we moved to was acceptable given the cost (albeit incredibly dated and dirty), but that is about it."

"Perfectly acceptable no-contact lodgings for the price, with the benefit of walkability to central Oxford (if you're a good walker). The management was accessible by phone. The procedure for accessing the building and the room (once you are present on the site of the hotel) was clear. Two small suggestions: (1) stop relying on the app to verify identity, as not everyone has a phone that it works on. (2) if you tell guests the kitchen has coffee making facilities etc., make sure the kitchen...

"The staff were all very helpful, especially Simon who helped us organize transportation. Food was wonderful, pub was great, and loved the outdoor seating. We ended up staying an extra night and highly recommend!"
