"This is a great hotel option right in the heart of Oxford. The street around it is a bit busy and slightly grimy, but once you step into the downstairs entrance to the hotel you feel safe, comfortable, and everything was fresh and tidy. Our room was on the backside so we had no street noise issues. The room exceeded my expectations for the cost in its charm and features. This is a great option for a midrange priced hotel! I would definitely stay here again."

"We have a fabulous one night stay before we went to Cheltenham Festival. Such a cosy and relaxed setting, exactly what we needed. We felt really looked after and would return. Highly recommend for a little getaway from everyone and for peace and quiet "

"Brilliant stay, check in was quick and smooth. Show to our rooms which were clean and spacious with large king bed. Staff were excellent during the stay and even did us a meal which wasn't on the recently updated menu. Breakfast freshly cooked and again adapted the choice for my colleague. "

"Outdated. No whwre near what it was before. Room was old dated and filthy. Food option was very very very poor and the staff struggled to keep up with drinks. So upset with our experience. we were so looking forward to it and a special occasion ruined "

"Lovely inn in quaint Oxfordshire village. Food and service were excellent and we had a charming cosy room in the Eves of the hotel. Would highly recommend now it is owned by two brothers who clearly take great pride in delivering a wonderful experience."

"A particularly nice welcome. A very well appointed en suite facility. A good sized and comfortable bed - very thoughtful and good quality ancillary furniture in the room. Very good breakfast. "The hotel did not meet expectations or the description online and we had a very disappointing stay. The private bathroom was outside the room across from the stairway with no key given, so anyone could use it even though it was to be private for you. If I knew the private bathroom was not ensuite, I would not have booked this hotel. The bathtub has a hand-held shower spray but water was either scalding hot or cold-difficult to mix to get warm water. Except for the four-poster bed, nothing else...

"The cottage and the entire property are beautiful and well maintained. The staff is very courteous and accommodating. The cottage is fully stocked with everything a guest may require. The fridge was stocked with milk, a pack of bacon, a pack of cheese and wine. Fruits and homemade marmalade were also left for us. All very thoughtful and welcoming. The only issue we had was with the WiFi which is very slow. We were told that internet connection in the entire area is slow and the providers are in...
