"Very comfortable and modernized hotel. Good value. Unfortunately, the Annex to the main building had a strong smell of either paint of varnish 9in the halls and my room. This may have been due to the rooms being closed up. With the ventilation/A/C turned on and the windows open, the smell in the room dissipated fairly quickly. Other than that, a very pleasant stay. "

"Even with some help from Reception to try and order a supper from town, I failed to master the technology on my iPad! I was advised to wait and I would hear that delivery was on its way. After a very long time waiting in Reception, staff took pity on me and made a few phone calls on my behalf. It turned out that my order hadn’t gone through! "A great deal of the hotel as been refurbished and the rest is underway. The lounge, bar and restaurant are nice, as was our room. Excellent full English breakfast for me and vegetarian breakfast for my wife. "
