The property is a little dated but clean and comfortable, and frankly you shouldn't want to spend lots of time in a hotel with such amazing scenery all around and free parking! "Our room was clean and beds comfortable. The hallways/doors were very dirty. They need to assign a dedicated staff to do cleaning and maintenance every once and awhile. Scrub the doors, touch up the paint. The doors were so dirty I didn’t like touching them to open them. The staff/ reception was wonderful and helpful in every way. The rooms don’t have many amenities, just a kettle. We didn’t purchase breakfast here because the continental was only coffee and cereal, no toast or fruit. You had to order the full hot breakfast if you wanted a simple toast breakfast, the price vs value was not comparable to other hotels continental offerings. The location was perfect! Across from the castle, short walks to everything, and the bus around the corner if you’re a traveller. Lastly they have a late 11am checkout. All in all I was happy with the hotel."
