"Hotel is a bit old and tired in places but is due to undergo modernisation. Ideal location and parking was a godsend even at 13 euro a night. Real shame that the spa was such an expensive extra charge - 29 euro for a swim and sauna for an hour was too much."

A mini-supermarket is close to the hotel which is also convenient. An A/C was not working and the Breakfast was lower than expectation but ok-ish. Probably we overexpected (because it's a French hotel). The toilet bulb was broken suddenly while staying. We needed to wait in the room for a technician to fix it for an hour but they...

"All in all we enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately, in one of our rooms the shower was shockingly poor, the shower head could not be stabilised enough to allow a conventional shower to take place. That being said, we would stay here again."

"We stayed overnight on our way from Italy to the UK. The hotel was out of town but conveniently near the motorway for our journey. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. "Hotel was fine but the only reason we have used this hotel so much is the Courtpaille restaurant attached to it. Unfortunately this time the meal in the Courtpaille was very poor and expensive for what it was. The Goat's Cheese salad consisted of limp lettuce, a very small portion of goats' cheese, bread rolls cut in half, not toasted and an anaemic dressing. We will now be looking for other hotels for our stays."
