"I have stayed here a few times over the last year on business trips. Friendly, clean and tidy and good value for money. The King and double bedrooms I have stayed in are spacious and the beds and pillows very comfortable. Nice touch that when they get to recognise you as a regular, a room upgrade is simply done as a nice gesture without asking - excellent customer service that puts the guest first. Happened at least three times fairly recently "

"Would have given 5 stars but on arrival found we had to use a lot of stairs , my fault for not asking before hand. Location was excellent. Rooms clean and comfortable. Denise ( owner) was very pleasant and friendly."

"First time staying here and we weren’t disappointed. Room was spacious and airy , bed very comfortable. Welcome pack was good. Shower was great and bathroom was immaculate. My only suggestion was to add a handrail inside the shower and maybe a small corner shelf for shampoo, conditioner , shower gel it’s much better for someone disabled. "We had a lovely one night stay here (wish it was longer). The staff were so welcoming and helpful. We dined in the restaurant for dinner and the food was delicious. I am coeliac and the server and chef were very accommodating to my needs. So glad we found this hidden gem and will definitely be back."
