The location is good, parking on the street, and room was cozy and not large. It may have been a little overpriced for what amenities and room we received, but it was clean and safe and we only stayed one night. We ate at the Mash Tun that night which was great and a great recommendation "

"A lovely B&B, the room was beautifully clean & well equipped, nice touches like fresh milk, sweet treats & bedside phone chargers which was really useful. The breakfast was amazing, locally sourced meat from the Butcher with some of the nicest black pudding I have tasted. The town and beach are all within walking distance and plenty of places locally to eat in the evening. Thank you Helen for a wonderful stay"

"I had to be booked in for 10.00 and the kitchen closed at 8.30 so had to go out and the bed was smelling of dampness and when I came back from eating out I had to phone for someone to let me in not ideal after driving almost 150 miles so I’m afraid I will not be using the Smithton hotel in the future the bar was also closed early so I couldn’t get a drink when I came from eating out."
