"Incredible!! Loved everything about our stay in this historic hotel. The reception staff was unparalleled- so warm and friendly and helpful with local tips (thank you Andrea & Tim!!). The rooms were comfortable and clean and well stocked with what we needed for our overnight stay. Only regret is that we weren’t there longer!! The house restaurant menu looked great and the prices were very competitive. Just no time to actually try it. Maybe another time. "

"I must say the size of our suite was impressive. What was more impressive was the cleanliness of the room. Our super king size bed had a supremely comfortable mattress, the room came with a small kitchenette area which we didn't use and plenty of tea and coffee etc and the muffins were a bonus. The bathroom was large and spotless with a great walk-in shower. Towels were fluffy and soft. Sleep quality brilliant and we would recommend this property "

"Stayed one night property a bit tired could do with a makeover however landlord and owner very friendly prices excellent we ate in the restaurant food was very nice. Room was fine for one night might be a bit small for longer stays. Breakfast cooked to order for me a bit small but then included in the price . We do plan to stay there again when visiting the area. "Overall great stay - it's a lovely location and food is splendid. But we did request to move room after first night due to the noise of a boiler attached to other side of the wall in room 1. The manager made this move very easy, but of course it would be a different story if they had been fully booked."

"A really convenient hotel, and the parking was a real bonus that was just outside the back entrance of the hotel. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and the hotel was located close to shopping and restaurants. The food menu choice was limited but the pie options on the menu were delicious. "
