Wonderful hosts, couldn’t have been more accommodating. Great room, great location, despite the heat we managed to stay cool, had use of the pool. Would recommend to stay here if you are ever in the area.

Lovely hotel in an excellent location, just a short walk into the old town but also on a street with plenty of amenities of its own. Free parking nearby in the Place Barbicane which was easy to find and close to the hotel. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and breakfast was lovely, lots of choice and local products. The hotel garden was beautiful, and a cute if very small roof terrace too from which you can get a view of the city walls.

This property is like the Jewel in the Crown!! Firstly, don't be put off by the small number of excellent reviews as it has only opened this year. The hosts, Katy and Olivier, were both working in England for many years at a high quality and popular hotel in the Yorkshire Dales. BJ and Iris were the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. The setting was great with wonderful views and a stones throw from Carcassonne city. Breakfast was wonderful with home made jams. BJ was also very kind to re freeze our ice packs for the onward journey. We will definitely be back.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable with beautiful views. The breakfast was charged extra and there was plenty of cereal, bread, cheese, meats, fruits and yoghurts etc. It is over 4 km from Carcassone and buses are infrequent but there is plenty of parking if you take a car. We had a fabulous stay.

We chose the hotel because it offered breakfast as part of the deal. When we got there we discovered it was a very remote (quiet) rural, converted farmhouse offering modern room facilities and excellent breakfast. It also had an outdoor, unheated, swimming pool, horses to ride and staff who could not do enough for us. Excellent hotel, 3 minutes from main entrance in to the city. Our room had a small garden with table and chairs to sit out in and enjoy a glass of wine. Private parking within a secure compound. Our room was excellent, well appointed and very clean. Hotel staff are excellent and the breakfast was the best we had on our whole trip. 10/10

Just returned from a few days here - great little hotel, only 300m from La Cite de Carcassone's medieval walls. Really easy to get to and from as it is on the main road east out of Carcassonne (but it is extremely quite). Rooms are good, superb air-con, very clean and spacious, with hairdryer and toiletries provided. Ours had a mini kitchenette with fridge, sink, hotplate and microwave. Absolutely fantastic 2-day stay in the Royal Suite at Le Château de La Seigne. It’s only a 10-minute drive from Carcassonne, and Ubers had no trouble picking us up right at the gate quickly. ​The château itself is stunning and beautifully restored, packed with character and cool features like vintage restored cars in the entrance garage, a working old-school jukebox near the hall and a characterful staircase up to the upper rooms. ​The Royal Suite was huge, spotless, and had incredible views...

The property was in a good location, quiet but walkable to all important sites. Catherine was a lovely host, very accommodating, had breakfast ready each morning and kept our luggage on our day of departure.

Lovely shabby chic style hotel with lots of upcycled features within a renovated collection of buildings around a central courtyard. Attentive welcome from the owner and lots of nice touches, such as the gifting of a delicious homemade chocolate dessert on our final night. Makes a pleasant change from overly commercialised and formulaic hotels, where you are just part of a pipeline of guests - this feels more like staying with family or friends. Highly recommended
