"Used this hotel for an event near the hotel. Its overlooks the coast and a few minutes walk to town. Cant fault the staff, friendly, helpful and polite. Hotel was clean. Price was reasonable. The breakfast was really nice and the restaurant served evening meals if you wanted to eat in. Down side, yes sorry.... heating was on constantly , so windows were open all day and night as the thermostate on one of the radiators by the bed didnt work so we were unable to turn that radiator off. I think...

"Old hotel in need of restoration and modernisation to modern standards. Some lovely old historical features such as the lift and revolving doors, and slanted ceilings, made me smile. Room was comfortable and sea views fantastic. But poorly decorated. Extractor fan disconnected and filthy. Breakfast was a disappointment. Little choice of cold foods, and instant coffee not freshly brewed. The food there was was nice. Staff were very helpful. "

"Check in was Fast and they let me check in a little early to drop my bags which was nice the room was a modern annexe with very very comfy bed and a brand new clean ensuite we've toiletries and tell they were USB charges and air conditioning machine which was lovely and I slept very well it was very beautiful would recommend and stay hereagain and finally it's a five minute bus ride from Ilford station"

"We enjoyed our stay and the property was in a good location for us, a short walk from the beach and Bus stops so we didn't need to worry about finding parking. Our only problem was that the stairs are quite steep and, being retired and not in the best of health, my husband struggled with that."
