"Coming from America I’m not used to staying in hotels or BnB’s that do not have washcloths in the bathroom. I wish there were instructions in the laundry room in German and English on how to operate the washer and dryer. The property and room were clean and modern. "

"Centrally located with good communication to airport and short work to the old town. it filled the role of a low cost hotel, basic breakfast for a quick stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were cleaned late in the day and on our first day the floors were not swept or mopped. After letting reception know this was done for the rest of our trip. Over all it was good and for the price we paid it absolutely fine."

"I was really pleased with my stay at Hotel Krone. The location is lovely, in the centre of Salzburg but just slightly over the bridge from the most touristy part. I loved that my room had a view of the cobbled street and church tower! My single room had everything I needed. Yes, the decor was perhaps old fashioned, but the bathroom was very modern and everything was very clean. Considering the facilities, location and price, I would definitely stay there again. "

"I recommend doing research before coming here. If you do not have a car, it will be hard for you to travel up to the hotel, if you do not like to walk. The restaurant is not open everyday. The spa was closed when we were there. The view is amazing and it’s quiet. It’s an old style hotel and it has a lot of history. If you are used to 5 star hotels like the Ritz, don’t come here. "

"Very quite location and walkable from the Salzburg station. There are also buses which which stops right opposite to the property. The check-in was smooth and lady at the front desk was very friendly and explained the city and made very useful recommendations for places to visit. The rooms were very clean and tidy.
