Very spacious room and bathroom. Hotel is in a nice and quiet residential area. Bus stop is very close. The bed is adjustable, I think that was my favorite part!

Overall a good stay! Place was quite dated and far from major tourist sites but room was clean and a good size. Staff were friendly and we utilized the secure luggage storage. Located in a quiet neighbourhood but limited dining options and amenities nearby. Beds were extremely comfy but we stayed in a triple room and the third bed was only a cot that was extremely dated and not comfortable.

Top find, convenient location.

Lovely hotel just around the corner from the football stadium in a quiet street. Fast and friendly check in and a nice air conditioned room. Breakfast was the best of our multi-hotel road trip, absolutely superb. Will definitely be staying here again next time we're in Salzburg and can recommend without hestitation.

The hotel had a warm Austrian feel. The room was clean and modern. A real perk was the public transportation pass given to us. The train station was about 10 minute walk. And we used the pass to go everywhere on bus and train. It is really a great place to stay.

I am happy with the room which is equipped with basic kitchen utensils, stove and microwave. Staff are friendly, room is clean and the bed is comfortable. The location of the hotel is also ideal, close to tram, bus and subway stations. I highly recommend this hotel.

Charming and traditional

The hotel has a friendly, traditional atmosphere. The staff are very helpful and friendly and answered all questions pleasantly. The rooms were spacious, air conditioned and clean. The decor was a bit dated but I think that added to its charm. We ate at the restaurant next door twice and we had the breakfast, which was lovely, with both hot and cold options available. The hotel can be reached from the train station by bus. The hotel sent us a free public transport voucher before our arrival, so no need to worry about tickets.

Really nice hotel just outside the city. We walked and used an Uber to get into the city for reasonable cost. Staff friendly and helpful at all times. Shopping centre very close by that you could walk to if you like shopping. All in all would definitely recommend.

Enjoyed my stay here

I stayed at Hotel Kohlpeter on a solo leisure trip. I was very impressed with the whole experience. The staff was very courteous, and all were very friendly. I didn’t initially purchase the breakfast option, but I decided to try it, and after the first day, I decided to add it for the next two days. The breakfast area attendant was very friendly, and she made sure to let me know how everything was fresh, and she was correct. It was well worth the extra money spent. Overall, I was very pleased with the hotel, the staff, and I would recommend it to anyone who will be staying in the Salzburg area.
