"GREAT COMFORTABLE SERVICE AND FACILITIES"

"The room we booked was clean and very pleasant but unfortunately overnight on the first day the toilet cistern developed a leak. Because it was a Sunday and they couldn't get a plumber to attend they helped us move into a beautiful 2 bedroom apartment with its own living room and kitchen at no extra charge. We were so impressed we have booked a similar one bedroom apartment at the Green Dragon at the beginning of September."

"The check in was slow as no staff were about and had to wait for a while. However staff were welcoming and helpful and approachable. The room itself was basic but met the requirements for us. It was quite hot at night and the curtains didn’t do their job very well resulting in our daughter waking at 5.30am. The towels were of a reasonable standard but could do with being replaced. The room was facing onto a main road so traffic noise the next morning was noticeable and woke us up. Breakfast was limited but cooked breakfast was nice choice and came quickly and hot. "

"We have stayed at the Riverside hotel a few times. Not been for about 8 years but had a one night stay on the 9th May. It has been one of my favourite hotels but after staying this time the cleanliness has gone down hill. The family room No 3 was very dusty on skirting boards and dado rails and window sill was covered in flies. The shower room needed bleaching around the bottom of the shower. The lamp on the dressing table was extra dusty on top . These things can be put right if you got a good cleaner in. It has certainly put me off staying again. The breakfast was so nice & were the staff. A lovely clean bed but the lack of dusting in the room has let this hotel down. 😪"

"The staff were very friendly, welcoming and efficient. The food was very good. The hotel is very comfortable, well furnished and very quiet being a little remote. No outside noise and very little noise inside the hotel even with coach parties staying over. Looking forward to my next visit."

"The staff were excellent, so friendly and it is an excellent place to bring your dog with you. The breakfasts and evening meals were delicious. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We will definitely return. "
