"Lovely hotel with lots of character. Does require a little updating in rooms. Staff were very helpful. Excellent amenities."

"The location is at perfect distance from the beach and its attractions. It is a safe and cheap alternative for solo travelers without sharing bedroom or bathroom. Very clean, nice view, and overall comfortable. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone visiting Brighton."

"Clean and comfortable room for a short stay. Adequate breakfast. Good location in terms of walking down to the seafront. Would note for travellers with accessibility issues the hotel is at the top of a very steep road so may not be suitable for mobility aid users."

"Comfortable room in a convenient location."

"Receptionist excellent room lovely"

"Superb location, try and get a sea view room."

"Very well located in central, and minutes to shops, bars, cafes, and restaurants."

"Great location, Friendly staff."

"Lovely"

"Nice hotel, great location and great view."

"Accceas to the property was via a door code which was supplied on the day at check in time which wasn’t till 3. Whilst the room was clean and had been renovated relatively recently it hadn’t been done to a good standard and needs repainting and the bathroom redoing to bring it up to a good standard. The room had French doors which opened up onto a flat roof which couldnt be used as a balcony and the Juliet balcony guard was laid on the flat roof. View out the window was horrid and over looked....

"Nice buget accommodation No frills but good"

"Nice Victorian warm style, very polite staff and nice food."

"Room was really nice and comfortable, only complaint is the shower wasn't brilliant,"

"Room was pet friendly, staff were great, decor in room a bit tired but not enough to putting us off staying again, Bathroom door could fit better. Food was very good."

"Very nice property and staff very helpful."
