We had an amazing stay and the hosts were very attentive from the minute we arrived to when we left and nothing was too much trouble. We had a lovely time at 17 Wilmington Square. The room was very comfortable with crisp white sheets and fluffy towels. There was a well appointed en suite and everything you could possible need for your stay, and more. Breakfasts were fresh, healthy and delicious, served by a friendly and helpful team. Lovely one night stay whilst visiting for the tennis. Room was spacious, clean and with comfy beds. Good WiFi. Great breakfast. Very pretty front garden with colourful flowers and B&B had been themed with tennis balls especially for the event. Being a bit further out means more walking but easily doable and it meant parking on local streets was free. Would visit again.

Could not find a fault with this hotel at all. All the staff were very polite and attentive and the breakfast was very good and set you up nicely for the day. The hotel was very close to the seafront but was situated down a side road so was very quiet at night.I will not hesitate to book The Sheldon on any future visits to Eastbourne.

A lovely hotel which was recently renovated. The staff are brilliant and super helpful. Although we did not use the restaurant it looked very good. There was a beautiful cocktail bar too.
Our room was on the 4th floor and reached by a gorgeous old lift complete with seats!! The room itself was a little shabby in parts but the views were magnificent. Bathroom was large and very nice. Excellent coffee in the rooms and they all come with access to Netflix etc.
Would definitely stay here again....
